I took my Original List of WIPs and edited out everything
other than the actual list.
Please Post your own additions,
including descriptions of those WIPs that don't have them.
Raven Rock Mod which is trying to extend upoun the
original idea. (more details on the thread.
Mournhold Clockmaker I think the name tells you
what this mod is about.
Solstheim Castle: This is basically going to be a
house mod for Solstheim.
Firemoth: The Aftermath: adds a real fort where
the bethesda plugin was, following the completion of the Bethesda
quest.
Bjornholm: adds a new continent to quest and
explore on.
Black Market: adds a black market, see webpage for
details. (Has a semi-qorkable v released now.)
Bards of Vvardenfell: allows the pc to play songs
in taverns and inns.
Great House Hlaalu Expanded - Adds a LOT of more
quests
swrdphantom's WIP.
hasn't decided on a name
yet, so I don't know what to call it. 
Garoloth's Shack
A combination mod with
low-level new character startup helps - Uber cheating helps for
those days when nothing else will do - Mystery stories to solve -
Hidden treasure to find - Interesting new NPCs and quests, including
companionable NPCs and kids (in cooperation with Emma) - Much more
in-depth NPC characters, personalities, interaction, and background
stories.
All of this is tied together by common threads of
circumstance, location and history.
Merrye Olde England A new landmass which will be a
microcausm of old England in selectively compressed form. This is
presently still in the conceptual and research stage.

Following Attackers: If you can't figure it out
this adds attackers that will follow you through doors (like going
from an interior to an exterior)
Guards At The Gate & Headstart: Two different
mods, one lets you start as Nerevarine, if you don't want to play
through main quest again, the other adds guards to Ghost Gate.
old The Underground Thread and new The Underground Thread and OMG there's another thread: It's a vamp mod,
that's all I know, check it out if you care more than I do.
Gauntlets, Bracers and Pauldrons II: I think this
is a fix for what this guy thought was a bug, not really sure, again
check it out if you care more than I do.
Goblin WIP: adds Goblins as a playable race.
Moon Textures: adds, you guessed it, moons.
Leveling Birthsigns: The name says it all, in this
mod, as you lvl you gain attributes and abilities because of your
class and/or your birthsign.
Romance! Thread: Will add 100+ npcs for the pc to
have a relationship with. Romance! Homepage
Merchant Mod: Unfortuantely, I'm having trouble
finding a description of this mod, but the people following it seem
to like it, and the screenshots are good, if you have time, run a
search.
NEW ULTIMA Thread: A total rework of Morrowind,
apparently this guy really like Ultima 7, and wanted to make an
improved Ultima. Ultima Mod Homepage
Forced Roleplaying: Interesting idea, this modder
takes heroes and such from games and tv shows and creates items that
can't be removed without console commands to make a character
similar to the hero. Please note, he seems to do this on request, so
if you have a hero you would like, mention it.
Atrox's Legacy: a house mod, with new items.
Morrowind Homesteads: A large housing mod, adds
purchasable homes to all parts of Morrowind.
energy #1: retextures parts of Morrowind, if you
know more about making textures than I do you will probably
understand this.
Beautiful Ivory Palace: a house mod, nice screen
shots.
Fallaran: Fallen City: I don't know what this is,
that blue on black text hurt my eyes too much for me to care, if you
want to find out .
Egyptian tileset kinda-sorta: shannon's name not
mine (shannon_ also made the Ivory Palace.), anyway, another name
says it all type thing, it's a tileset.
Red Skulls I can't tell what this WIP is about,
it's supposed to be playable, dl it and post if you can figure out
what's up.

My current WIP
is Wayfarer's Rest.
The mod allows the player to
own and profit from an inn, which is obtained through a quest. The
quest is pretty much done now, nd I'm just working on fixing a few
things that aren't working properly just yet (mainly the profit
system).
The thread I've linked to above also has some
screenshots posted, though I haven't added any new ones in
awhile.
When I release this mod, I'll probably also release a
quest walkthrough, in light of the number of emails I've received
where people got stuck on the quest in Darkshroud Keep.

Honestly this
seems like wasted effort. A WIP is vaporware untill it's released.
Even seemingly solid WIPs from well-known modders frequently dry up.
And how many great mods made it to Alpha or Beta and no further?
Better to let the modders (the only ones who really know how it's
going) provide their own announcements when they feel they have
something to say. Just my 2 cents...
And now a suggestion,
since there's a make-a-list craze going around lately -
How
about a comprehensive list of mod conflicts along with a detailed
explanation of how to properly combine mods in order to avoid
dialogue and leveled list conflicts? With a paragraph or two on
load-order? Why it matters, etc? And some reccomended utilities for
finding and fixing problems?
Now that would warrant a
bookmark.

This may be true, but this thread
seems more of a way to let folks who may not frequent the forums
often to catch up on what they may have overlooked. There's not much
effort involved in making this list; all the work is done by the
modders themselves. I don't see much harm in it, and I do see some
potential good.
I enjoyed reading through this thread and
catching up on projects I may have missed. It's nice to see what my
fellow modders are up to.

Here's my
WIPs:
Isle of Thumzand: Nerevarine's Castle: Gives a
huge castle with quests to player once the main quest in Morrowind
is completed. The island has a small house for sale for those gamers
who haven't done the main quest yet and you can upgrade this house.
Total size of this plugin will be something like the size of
Tribunal.
Tombs Expanded: Adds from 1 to 6 dungeon levels
with new monsters to every tomb which means that there will be about
400 new dungeon levels to search.

Looks to me that is exactly
what is going on here. The modders themselves are posting links to
their WIP projects, gee guess they have something to say don't

projects but since the above poster rather offended me personally
and offended the respect I have for those who give their best effort
to do projects with the community's input via WIP threads here etc,

Is it so very wrong to offer even the
slightest of support to those whose mods you will likely download
and play or complain about in the future? What is so blasted wrong
with supporting WIP's that may or may not make it to release? How
much time does it take you to post discouraging junk like you did
here...?? not much right?? so what is so wrong with spending the
same amount of time to offer a little encouragment to those WIP
projects... ever think that with a bit more encouraging they might
just be more likely to make it to release?
Attitudes like
this are more of a waste of time in my opinion then this thread is.
So why not do yourself a favor and stop wasting your own time by
posting that kind of garbage. If you think a WIP is such a waste of
time why would you even bother opening this thread just to post
something derogatory to someone who wished only to help spread the
word about projects that are in the making...SHEEESH...

on this rant. To many times I have written out things like this to
people on this board and that is the main reason I avoid this board
more and more...it has become more of a waste of my time then a help

effort is commendable! And your releases will encourage others to
follow your examples and ignore those who would rather see the game

It's the
ungrateful types that make modding a chore. You spend months on a
mod, and when you release it, you get nothing but complaints from
people who never bothered to post in your wip threads.
WIP
threads serve a real purpose, as a place to discuss ideas and to
show support to the modder. Maybe so many of them become vaporware
because the modder becomes disgusted with the lack of feedback.

Well, you can
also choose not to get caught up in the forums so much that you care
what is vaporware and what isn't. It's none of our business whether
Vorwoda says it's almost finished, he's not truly obligated to say
anything about what he does, as the case with anyone here making
mods.
People getting offended about mods is tiresome and
silly. People getting offended by personal attacks is
justified.
Most forums are like this, from NASCAR to fishing
to cookbook forums. Just blow it off, and remember it's a game
called Morrowind.
In my case, I just dont hype my mods other
than the thread I make for them. I dont need much PR, I'm not on any
teams or clans or whatnot, just lone wolf loch. There are alot of
ppl like me, and alot of ppl quite the opposite. They have to
mention their mods in every thread, which I suppose is good to get
word out...but tiresome after to much of it.
I think
Telesphoros' List o Mods is the one thread that I truly stand by,
most of the others are just coat-tail hangers looking to get stars
or thousands of views. AcidBasick and Tele took lots of time to code
the links and really take a good look at things...these other
threads are just mish-mash LOOK HERE kinds of things. Sorry if that
gets you steamy in the ears, but it's my perogitive to say so.

If you are one of those people
who hops around this board posting negative responses to threads
like this one then I guess you could be offended by my comment
directed at those people. Perhaps I did not clarify it well enough,
perhaps I am to tired and simply after two years of being around
this board decided once more to not hit the back button after
writting out my thoughts on the negativity, or perhaps you didn't
finish reading my post above where at the end I gave my respect to
those who have the WIP threads and to the person who started this
one...
I am well aware of this communities skilled and
talented people and have a great deal of respect for the vast
majority of them. I spend my own money for webspace and bandwidth
that I use to try and offer my thanx for what they do by hosting the
MorroRing on it as well. I PM people with encouragement, and try to
help them if they need it as well. Those modders that have the
courage to pursue their dream and vision ALWAYS have my respect and
are ALWAYS worth my time.
What is not worth my time is coming
here when it gets this period of slumping attitudes that see a rise
in negative postings, because I try very hard to show respect to all
people on the forums I visit I usually find myself typing long
winded resposnses like the one above and this one but very VERY
rarely do I hit submit on those writtings because by the time I
finish writting it out I am over the initial feeling of insult that
I got from reading the post and rather then ADD to the negative
posting I simply hit the back button and go on to something else or
post a reply to the original poster if it is of any benifit to
them.
So take my above as you think it applies to you. If you
are one of the negative posters that posts such garbage as WIP's are
vaporware until released then by all means be offended and I am glad
you are because if you are one of those people you have offended me
for years now, it's about time I was finally able to offend you
back!!
If you are not one of those types of people then know
that the last part of my post was directed at you. the part you did
not include in your quote...

I feel this is a slight
exaggeration. This forum has many regular members who are very
supportive. The people that would complain are the ones who aren't
part of the community.
On a personal level, your work is amazing
and people often comment on that. If I offended you then I very
humbly apologize.

Well, I don't
consider myself to be a negative poster. I don't post as often as
many people but I have been doing moreso since I've gotten more
integrated into the community. Generally, I am very positive and
supportive and wouldn't do anything to offend.
You are
correct in that I didn't finish your post, I think that I must have
gotten to that point and seen it as your signature area. So I
apologize for that as well. Man, it sure is a night for me to be
screwing up and pissing people off. Bed-time I think.

Please do not
think you pissed me off in the least. Myself being tired usually am
even worse at making my points clear then I am when I am not
tired...and that is bad enough... I simply made my second post to
try and better clarify what I meant in my first post. I have read
many threads you have posted in and have had good thoughts about
what you posted and respect you for that. Even your post above about
WIP's was done in such a way as to simply ask when would a person
think a WIP had stopped. It was a direct question to a direct WIP
and mentioned reasons you have for trying not to get overly excited
about others. It in no way was a flat blatant post stating that all
WIP's are worthless until they are released etc. I thought you
posted a respectful question and personal feeling about WIP's.
To answer I would say you are correct in your thinking. Try
not to be overly excited about them but the very least that can be
done is to have enough respect for the person not to post in their
thread that their project will never see the light of day. (I know
you don't do this but I have seen others do it, including other
people with WIP threads of their own...sheesh...) But perhaps when
you see a modder with several WIP's you can ask them in a pm, why
they are doing or trying to do so many..or even in their thread.
Maybe the other projects they post about are run by someone else and
all they are doing is one little thing for those projects but
because they believe in the maker of the project they advertise for
them etc... if they are in charge of all of them, sure be cautious
but really what does it cost to support their effort even if it
never comes to pass. If you are interested in the idea hey encourage
it if not, just move on to something else where you can be positive.

Some things
inspire me to post if I feel I can contribute a real voice but I
feel useless posting "oh my gosh, this looks great, can't wait" when
there's two or more pages of people that have already posted. I do
occasionaly make posts like this but not everytime I think it. I
guess I should rethink that as any kind of good comment is
appreciated I suppose.
I'd be VERY surprised if I've never
commented on your WIPs. For what's its worth, I think your Egyptian
tileset is brilliant and I would love to see more. I also really
like your futuristic setting although I can't see myself using that,
but it is really quality. I downloaded your crazy furniture and
thought the textures were beautiful. You're set in the readme when I
release my house plugin. I didn't use you're textures but I wouldn't
have been able to set my furniture up without your
inspiration.
I rarely offer suggestions unless something
really hits me. I'll try to be more vocal with my support in the
future, even if the support is already there.

I don't expect
or even hope for people to gush, I just want them to say
SOMETHING!!!! I don't care what anyone says, it sucks to have what
you know is good work ingnored by others. Especially when they reply
to tons of other WIP threads. Why do people choose to avoid mine?
Because I've already got some replies? That sucks. I come to this
forum every day, and often bump my threads, and who replies? The
same people who replied last time, that's who. (and I',m grateful to
have those loyal fans)
If I judged intrest in my castle mod
by the number of individuals who saw fit to reply to me about
it, then I'd guess theres about ten-fifteen people waiting for it.

This is how I
feel about my work -I do it for me. If someone notices it and is
interested then I'm highly flattered. Most of the stuff I've done is
never seen by others. I got a few nice comments on my Mog home and 2
or 3 people who were interested in getting the plugin... but they
were people that I look up to in this forum so that blew me away.
Definitely worth building the home from scratch even if its just for
a couple of people.
I always felt that you get a lot of
attention but it was deserved because you create quality work. But I
see it differently than you because its your work so what I think is
a lot may not be as much to you.

actually meant this to be two things, one a place for people to
easily find the WIPs they're looking forward to, and two, at some
point I'll get this list organized, and then I'll add codes for
thinbgs like whether or not the modder is currently looking for
help, etc. However it won't be this week, because I'm going on
vacation in 2 and 1/2 hours. Thank God. So please keep adding WIPs
so I don't have to do the footwork. (It's not much fun looking
through WIPs because the coolest thing you ever see is a Screen
Shot.)

diplomat now? The gist of my remark was meant to signify that none
of these other lists are organized as well as TLOM. If the authors
wouls actually take time to sort things out into categories, or at
the very least put double spacing between the lines, these other
lists would be alot easier to read and more helpful.
I know
you put yourself off as smarter than everyone else, it's in your
wording...that's fine. I know you dont like me anyway, youve never
lowered yourself to post in anything I've done to show support for
me...thats fine too. I made my opinion known (and I stand by
it).
Once you start making a mod (which to my knowledge you
have not) you will see the hours turn to days turn to weeks turn to
months and realize that making one isn't to make a list, or to be
"featured" anywhere...it's for the pure enjoyment of creating it.
And to be clear: I do not "think so ill of others" as you
would have others believe. That is YOUR judgement upon me, which is
false. I think ill of the practice of making (unoragnized) list
threads just to have accolades or be noticed. I didn't specify

Perhaps a bit honest, but I'll take honesty over
a nice liar any time. It's refreshing to hear someone being
blunt without the frills of adoration. I suppose some can't take
criticism even though they ask for it. 
It
seems strange that you would leave so quickly. Were you looking for

Hypocrisy is far less tolerable
then rudeness; it seems you've managed to achieve both traits in one
post.

My WIP - Lich Enhanced
Aims to build on the existing
framework for liches introduced by Illuminated Order, and enrich the
experience with various new features & concepts. As well as
adjustments/additions to the existing system for the lich
powers/abilities, this will eventually include alternative ways to
become a lich, creation of lesser lich followers, possession of new
host bodies, ascention to the state of demi-lich, and much more.
